Anchored in the Word

We have an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, which enters into that within the veil.

The storms of life will come to every one of us. The winds will blow and the waves will rise, but the soul that is anchored in the word of God shall not be moved.

The anchor of our hope is the promise of God, which is both sure and stedfast. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.

When the foundation of the world shakes, stand upon the rock that is Christ Jesus. When every opinion changes, hold fast to the word that never changes.

Build your life upon the word of God, and when the flood descends and the winds blow, you will not fall, for your house is founded upon the Rock.
