Raising Godly Children
The Psalmist declares that children are an heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward. Every child is a gift entrusted to parents for a season, and with that gift comes a solemn responsibility.
The home is the first church a child ever knows. Before a child hears a sermon, they read the lives of their parents. Our example speaks louder than our instruction.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. This training is not merely instruction but demonstration, lived out in the daily routines of love, discipline, and worship.
Let us dedicate our homes to the Lord, that the generations to come may rise up and call Him blessed.
