The Message of the Hour
Every age has had a distinctive message from God, and every generation of believers has been called to discern and proclaim the message of their hour. In the book of Revelation, the Lord declared 'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'
The message of the hour is not a new gospel, but the eternal gospel made present for this time. It is the word of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration that answers the deepest cries of the human heart in this generation.
As the Church, we must not be satisfied with the message of the past. We must seek the Lord for a present word, a living word, a word that awakens the dead and sets the captives free. The harvest is white, the night is coming, and the message of the hour must be preached.
Let us pray for boldness, that like the early Church, we may speak the word of God with confidence, and that signs and wonders may follow the preaching of the message of the hour.
